Bachelor and Master matriculation (enrollment)
Your student card is evidence of your enrolment at USI and bears your enrolment number. It is assigned to you when you first complete the enrolment process.

The card may also be validated to serve as a library card: all you need do is go to the University Library on campus, present your badge and ask for it to be validated for library services. The badge is then valid not only for the USI university libraries but for the entire library service of the Canton of Ticino. It can also be validated for other libraries in the BibliOpass circuit.
Updating your student card
Students are required to update their student card at the start of each semester. This enables you to continue to benefit from the services dependent on the card and, above all, to renew your enrolment automatically.
After paying your semester tuition fee, simply insert your card into the machine located in the entrance hall of the Main Building (the machine is in operation from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. To 7 p.m.). If your enrolment has been confirmed, the machine will print the relevant data on the lower section of the card.
Loss of student card
If you lose you student card, please go to the Front Office in the Main Building which receives and deals with lost property.
If the lost card has not been handed in, please refer to [email protected] to request issue of a replacement.
