Study and relaxation areas on the Lugano Campus

Study areas

The main study areas on the Lugano Campus are:  

  • room 156, Main Building (building no. 1), level 1. The room is available for study purposes only if no lessons are in progress (please refer to the timetable on the classroom door);
  • room 157, Main Building (building no. 1), level 1. The room is available for study purposes only if no lessons are in progress (please refer to the timetable on the classroom door);
  • room 159, Main Building (building no. 1), level 1. The room is available for study purposes only if no lessons are in progress (please refer to the timetable on the classroom door);
  • room 128, Main Building (building no. 1), level 1;
  • study area reserved for Master students: this study area is located on the 5th floor of the library building (building no. 5) and is equipped with 92 PCs. It area is not part of the library itself; to access it, please use the side entrance.

All the study areas mentioned above are accessible 24 / 7 using your student card and are covered by the campus Wi-Fi network. Access to PCs is via the CAMPUS account

In addition to the areas mentioned above, there are 200 work stations in the campus library. a number of them are equipped with PCs. The library areas are also covered by the campus Wi-Fi network. During term time and examination sessions, the library is open from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Please consult the library website for further information: https://en.bul.sbu.usi.ch/

Relaxation areas

During breaks, particularly the lunch break, students may use room 150 (Main Building, level 1), which is equipped with a microwave oven.

The room is accessible 24 / 7 using your student card.
