Enabling automatic webmail replies

Employees can activate auto-reply in their webmail (https://mail.usi.ch) by logging on with Windows credentials.

  1.      Then press “Automatic replies” by pressing the gear in the upper right corner.
  2.      Choose “Send automatic replies” and enter your message in the appropriate field.
  3.      Also activate the automatic message for non-USI members, "Send automatic reply messages to senders outside my organization".
  4.      After setting the rule, press the visa/OK at the top to save it.

 Students and cloud mailbox users can activate auto-reply in their webmail (https://portal.office.com) by logging on with Windows credentials.

  1.      Press the gear and then “View all Outlook settings” (located at the bottom).
  2.      Press “Automatic replies”.
  3.      Activate “Automatic replies on” and write your message in the appropriate field.
  4.      Also activate the automatic message for non-USI members, “Send replies outside your organization.”
  5.      After setting the rule, press “Save.”
