Travel for work purposes

ORGANISING TRAVEL / BUSINESS TRIPS

Business trips and work-related travel for academic staff – including PhD candidates with an employment contract – and administrative staff must, in principle, be organised through the University and are governed, with regard to administrative aspects, by the Regulations on Indemnities and Compensation.

All staff members are invited to contact the designated travel management offices – the USI Business Travel Desk – for tickets and bookings, well in advance:

 

 

In the case of tickets purchased and bookings made independently, the relevant terms and conditions for reimbursement shall apply – please consult the information on allowances and reimbursements.

 

 

TRAVEL SAFETY

Staff members who travel or organise travel are required to comply with USI provisions on travel safety. 

 

 

SUSTAINABILITY

USI has adopted provisions on the sustainability of travel, with particular reference to flights.
