Reporting a Personal Integrity violation
Any person belonging to the university community who feels their personal integrity has been infringed due to the inappropriate behaviour of others in violation of the Code of Ethics and perpetrated within their work or study environment, may report it through an informal or formal procedure.
In both cases is ensured the highest level of confidentiality in its treatment of data in accordance with data protection legislation.

Informal reporting procedure
WHAT IT OFFERS
- Telephone or in-person meeting with Internal or External Contact Person
- Aids in recognition of reported behaviour
- Presentation of the possibilities for action and information on the applicable procedures
- Possibility to reconcile the parties with the prior consent of the reporting person and the reported person
- Making contact with Respect Compliance Officer
- Contact to other USI or external resources.
No information concerning the content of the interview shall be passed on to USI's Management Board or to other persons concerned by the report without the express prior consent of the reporting person
HOW TO ACTIVATE IT
To activate the informal procedure, the reporting person may contact the Internal or External Contact Person in writing or by phone.

Formal reporting procedure
WHAT IT OFFERS
- Interview with the Respect Compliance Officer
- Establishment of of potential inappropriate behaviour in violation of the Code of Ethics
- Support in preparing the formal reporting dossier
- Internal investigation
- Information about the internal and supportive measures offered by USI and possible applicable external procedures
In case of potential inappropriate behaviour in violation of the Code of Ethics, with the prior express consent of the reporting person, the Respect Compliance Officer shall inform the Management Board.
HOW TO ACTIVATE IT
To initiate a formal procedure, the reporting person may proceed by submitting the attached form to the Compliance Advisor by uploading it to the following link.
If further information on the formal procedure is required, the reporting person may contact the Compliance Advisor by telephone or e-mail.
