Shadowing

Who it is aimed at

The Shadowing grant is open to female internal PhD students and post-doctoral researchers enrolled in the USI Mentoring Programme. The programme is open to women and all persons who are minoritised on the basis of their gender identity.

What it is

Being awarded a grant gives the opportunity to spend a month at a university or research institution outside Switzerland, benefiting from a relief from the work activities normally carried out at USI, in order to devote oneself exclusively to research activities that can make one's profile more competitive on the academic job market. The main affiliation institution of the person awarded the grant takes care of the internal replacement, while the Equal Opportunities Service covers the monthly salary normally received.
