P.L.I.D.A. – Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri
Certificazione di competenza della lingua Italiana
The P.L.I.D.A. diploma is an official certification of proficiency in Italian as a foreign language, issued by the Dante Alighieri Society in agreement with Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the University “La Sapienza” in Rome.
P.L.I.D.A. certifies the proficiency in Italian in accordance with the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The exam consists of four tests that verify the language proficiency in the four basic skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking.
The results are communicated to all applicants within 60 working days from the delivery of all exam materials (Scrivere booklets, answer sheets for Ascoltare and Leggere tests, recordings of Parlare tests, exam reports) to the P.L.I.D.A. headquarters in Rome. Please note that any incomplete or incorrect materials delivered will void the said 60-day term.
